Locally Made with HeartDefinitely Baba represents the spirit of locally crafted clothing on Kaua‘i. Every garment is thoughtfully designed, cut, and sewn right here on the island by founder Barbara Escalona Green and members of the local sewing community.Barbara is passionate about sharing her knowledge and teaching sewing skills, creating opportunities for people across the island to participate in the production of the Definitely Baba collection. When you wear Definitely Baba, you’re supporting a network of talented sewists — including work-from-home parents, caregivers, retirees, students, and community members who bring each piece to life.

Intentional DesignEvery piece created by Definitely Baba is unique and designed with purpose. From fabric selection to final stitching, each garment reflects cultural inspiration, creativity, and meaning.Inside every hang tag you’ll find a message — a word or quote meant to inspire and bring positive energy to the person wearing it.Because clothing should not only look beautiful — it should feel meaningful.

Sustainability MattersDefinitely Baba believes fashion can be thoughtful and responsible.Instead of mass production, we focus on small-batch collections, reducing waste and producing only what is needed.Fabric remnants are repurposed into accessories such as earrings, hair pieces, towels, and lanyards — giving new life to materials and helping keep textiles out of landfills.
